ELECTRIC GUITAR
Solid body purpleheart electric guitar

Summary
Music has always been a very important part of my life. I have always been known for my eclectic music tastes and I am always the friend that introduces people to new music. In between my time in high school, my time doing homework, and my time running Alchemy, I decided that I wanted to learn how to play guitar. But, what is the first thing you need to learn how to play guitar? Well, a guitar of course! Instead of going to a guitar store, or looking online, or even checking thrift stores, I did what every logical person does and decided that to learn how to play guitar, one must first learn how to build guitars.
And so, I started doing all the research I could into luthiery and made a model based off the Gibson SG that Jack Black plays in The School of Rock. Using all the woodworking tools I had bought for Alchemy, I started on my conquest to build my own electric guitar.
I hand carved and sanded the purpleheart and walnut body to fit all the specs, then taught myself some basic circuitry design and wired the pickups and potentiometers. Once complete, I was finally able to start the simple task of learning how to play guitar.
8 years later, I still don't really know. But at least I have a really cool guitar that I made.
